Dear Diary:
Can the end be near? Has this ship taken on water?
SK+G has gone through a complete transformation.
Lots of pink slips since my last entry, thanks to our inability to keep clients around.
MGM Grand at Foxwoods is leaving as of October 2008.
The only work taking place seems to be on the Executive Creative Director's portfolio.
Yes, Mr. Hack Pack leader himself, Eric Stein Executive Creative Director at SK+G.
From his bio, and I quote "Presently you’ll find me in a huge neon petri dish in the desert. Las Vegas. A laboratory for studying consumer behavior hell bent on excess. Lucky me in the lucky town. I advance brands like MGM Grand (FIRED US), Caesars Entertainment (FIRED US), Planet Hollywood Worldwide Resorts (FIRED US), Four Seasons (FIRED US), Trump International (FIRED US) and St. Regis (FIRED US)."
Petri dish? Advance brands? Yeah, right out the door...

Looks like the rest of his pack is doing the same. If you know their names, you know their sites.
Overboard!
UPDATE! Here is the company that did his website, click here

The little monkey is leaving? Or is he being fired?
What an asshole.
Oh-oh... Stein is on the loose. Maybe SK+G can be saved.
Not Eric Stein, the king of slippery soap!!!
I can't believe how bad this guys work is. The same ad over and over again. No concept, bad lines and nothing more than pictures. Hack is even too good a word. No room in the business for a loser like this. Work on your golf game Stein, later.
QUICK! Distract the employees from the fact they have no bonuses and no christmas party with a COOKIE EXCHANGE!!!
No Christmas party?
No Bonuses?
Does Stein, Trautwwein, Craft still have their jobs?
Funny. Stein even spelled schadler's name wrong on his resume. HEY STEIN!!!! its SCHADLER not shadler! the "c" is extra silent in monkeyese
these skg posts are friggin' awesome. keep them coming!!!
STEIN GOT CANNED TODAY! Boo-hoo...
How he kept his job this long is a mystery.
Say it isn't so. The freelance world may never know what has just been unleashed.
Distribution of internal corporate email, false information regarding status of corporate accounts, inaccurate posting of employee status all add up to a lawsuit. Thus far the blog has been flagged. Next up, legal action. Good luck guru.

The Mandalay Bay Pitch...ALIVE AGAIN
OH
MY
GOD
That is absolutely HORRIBLE.
I wonder why Stein was shown the door?
Wait. No I don't.
Repeat after me:
"Would you like to up-size that for an additional 75 cents?"
I so want to know who the Guru is.
Anybody have any clues? Apparently no longer an employee. Pretty much like everybody else it would seem.
Keep the posts coming!
Anything new with SK+G? It's now 2010 and several months since your last post. Any updates for us all or have all the leaks been sealed?
Press Release from SK+G 2/2011 announcing the new ECD Michael Boychuk.
As of August 2011 he's in SF working elsewhere.
Nicely done SK+G! Nicely done.
Maybe you can get Stein back if he is still even anywhere to be found.
SKG'ers check out Ray Johnson, yeah that one who led that horrid video pitch, over at bookofray.com
Looking it over he is taking credit for the work of others across the board.
Thieving hack.
anyone still tapped into this place? they're talking to me about a job. been working as an AD in LA for a while, but that seems to have dried up...
Trouble at the leisure lab? Looks that way.
"I guarantee every brand and its message to be hand tooled, hand stitched, hand polished and hand delivered to your inspired stakeholders and customers." -Eric Stein
Oh, and he is on his like 10th attempt at his own shop.
Looks like SK+G went into bankruptcy in 2017, lost their buildings, and have now turned everyone onto the street as of December 21, 2018.
Really feel for those who lost their jobs.
